IAB Bulgaria will present the results of the research on the volume of digital advertising in Bulgaria AdEx 2019

Sofia, June 29, 2020

On July 9, 2020 IAB Bulgaria will present the results of the survey on the volume of digital advertising in Bulgaria AdEx 2019. The data on the Bulgarian market will be presented in the context of the main trends in Europe, the volume of investments by industry, as well as ranking of the 100 largest advertisers in the digital environment in Bulgaria. The event will be held online through the ZOOM platform, and access to it will be free.

“Organizing AdEx in the context of COVID-19 was a great challenge and I want to thank all the participants who took the time to submit their data, as well as the colleagues from IAB and EMIS, with whom we worked on the project. We also appreciate the support of BACA, which for the second year called on its members to participate, “said Chavdar Dimov, market research manager at Economedia and head of the research commission of IAB Bulgaria. “This year, for the first time, we managed to estimate the data for Facebook, YouTube and Google search with fellow experts from the research commission. I am happy that IAB Europe appreciated and supported our work, “he added.

AdEx is the only study that shows the volume of advertisers’ investments in the digital environment in Bulgaria. It has been held every year since 2010, for which purpose IAB Bulgaria invites publishers and advertising agencies to participate. The partner of the study this year is IPSOS Bulgaria – one of the largest marketing research agencies globally. The Bulgarian wave of research is also included in the AdEx Benchmark Survey of IAB Europe, with which the organization presents the general picture of the European digital advertising market.

AdEx presents the net market in the main categories of Internet advertising – display, search, ads and directories, native and PR, etc. Key types such as video advertising and social networks are also listed separately. There is an assessment of local investments in Facebook, YouTube and Google search. An important part of the AdEx survey is the ranking of the Top 100 advertisers on the Internet, as well as the ranking by industry.
