Invitation for convocation of a General Meeting of the member of Interactive Advertising Bureau Bulgaria

Уважаеми Членове на Сдружение IAB,

По инициатива на Управителния съвет на основание на чл. 17, ал. 2 във връзка с чл. 18 oт Устава Ви уведомяваме, че:

На 10.11.2020г., от 09:00 часа ще се проведе извънредно Общо събрание на Сдружение “Интерактив Адвъртайзинг Бюро България”, ЕИК 175784631, на следния адрес: гр. София, бул. “Витоша” № 106, Рослин Централ Парк хотел (Rosslyn Central Park Hotel), зала 1, етаж: Конферентен.

Официалната покана за извънредното Общо събрание е приложена към това писмо!

Най-уважително молим представляващите на всички компании – членове на Сдружението, да присъстват. В случай, че представляващите компанията нямат възможност да присъстват, могат да упълномощят друг представител, който да ги представлява. Ако представляващите съответния член го представляват само заедно, то и двамата представляващи трябва да подпишат пълномощното.

За улеснение е приложена форма на изричното писмено пълномощно. Не е нужно да бъде нотариално заверено.

Молим всички пълномощни да бъдат представени на влизане на събранието на Изпълнителния директор на Сдружението – г-жа Надя Гогова, тъй като лица без пълномощно или лица, които нямат изрично пълномощно (за конкретното общо събрание) няма да могат да участват във взимането на решения. Напомняме Ви да си носите лични предпазни средства (защитни маски за лице) за влизане в залата, която е с достатъчен капацитет, за да се спазва дистанция между присъстващите!

Събранието е обявено с начален час 09:00 часа. При липса на кворум, на основание чл. 19 от Устава, Общото събрание ще се проведе от 10:00 ч. на същото място, същия ден и при същия дневен ред и то може да взема валидни решения независимо от броя на присъстващите или представени членове.

С цел ползотворно провеждане на събранието, насърчаваме всички представители да бъдат на място в интервала 8:30 – 8:45 часа с цел събиране на кворум на поне повече от половината от членовете за провеждане на събранието и гласуване по точките.

Председателят на Управителния съвет председателства Общото събрание на Сдружението по Устав. Работният език на Общото събрание е българският език.

На събранието ще присъства и правен секретар, както и технически сътрудници, които ще помагат на присъстващите за нормалното протичане на събранието.

Dear Members of IAB,

At the initiative of the Management Board on the basis of Art. 17, para. 2 related to Art. 18 of the current Statutes of the Association, we hereby invite you to participate in the extraordinary General Meeting of the Association with details as follows:

The extraordinary General Meeting of Interactive Advertising Bureau Bulgaria, Sofia City, UIC 175784631 (“the Association”) is scheduled for 10.11.2020, at 9:00 a.m., and will take place at Sofia City, 106 Vitosha Blvd., Rosslyn Central Park Hotel, hall 1, floor Conference.

The official invitation for the extraordinary General Meeting is enclosed to this Email!

We most respectfully ask the legal representatives of all legal entities – members of the Association to attend in person. If this is not possible, they can empower another person to represent them at the General Meeting by giving in his/her favor the respective voting authorization under an explicit Power of Attorney. In case such legal representatives represent the member jointly, the Power of Attorney must be issued observing the joint representation.

For Your convenience, a form of an explicit Power of Attorney is enclosed to this Email.  The Power of Attorney does not require notarization of the signature. Simple written form is sufficient.

We ask that all Powers of Attorneys be granted upon entry to the meeting of the Executive Director of the Association – Mrs. Nadya Gogova. Persons without a Power of Attorney or persons who do not have an explicit Power of Attorney (for the specific general meeting) will not be able to participate in the decision-making. We kindly remind you not to forget your personal protective equipment (protective face masks) for entering the hall, which is of sufficient capacity to keep a distance between the attendees!

The meeting was announced with a start time of 09:00. In the absence of a quorum, on the basis of Art. 19 of the Statutes of the Association, the General Meeting will be held from 10:00 a.m. at the same place, the same day and on the same agenda, and it may take valid decisions regardless of the number of members present or represented.

In order to facilitate the smooth conducting of the meeting, we ask all representatives to be in place at the interval of 8:30 – 8:45 a.m. for the purpose of collecting a quorum of at least – more than half of the members of the Association in order to hold the meeting and vote on the Agenda items.

The Chairman of the Management Board chairs the General Meeting of the Association. The working language of the General Meeting is the Bulgarian language.

The meeting will also be attended by a legal secretary, as well as technical assistants who will assist the attendances with the normal conduction of the meeting. IAB Bulgaria Stands in Solidarity with IAB Belarus

 

Regarding the statement from The Association of Advertising Organizations (ARO) and the Association of Interactive Advertising (IAB Belarus) on behalf of the companies of the advertising industry of the Republic of Belarus, IAB Bulgaria stands in solidarity with the colleagues. In the statement the associations express their negative attitude towards what is happening in the country after the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

As a result of the protests in the country, Chief of the board IAB Belarus, a well-known and respected businessman Alexander Vasilevich was detained and illegally sentenced to 15 days.

We ask the state authorities to:

To immediately stop the illegal actions of law enforcement agencies against citizens throughout the country;

Unconditionally release from prison citizens who took part in peaceful protest actions related to the election results;

To immediately start a dialogue with civil society about the results of the past election campaign, respect for electoral legislation and protection of the constitutional rights of voters.

IAB Bulgaria fully supports and stands in solidarity with IAB Belarus and the ARO.

One of the members of IAB Bulgaria SuperHosting.BG expands its presence in the Balkans and becomes part of a leading European hosting group

The European technology group Team.Blue has bought 100% of the property of one of the members of IAB Bulgaria: “Superhosting.BG”.

The Bulgarian company will continue to be managed by its current team, led by managing partners Lyubomir Rusanov and Metodi Drenovski. The brand will also be preserved.

Thus, Superhosting became part of the pan-European group, which has acquired companies in a total of 10 countries and has a market value of over 1 billion euros.

“Superhosting. ”Is one of the largest Bulgarian providers of hosting services.

For 2019, the company has declared 12.5 million BGN in revenues and a net profit of 1.8 million BGN

IAB Bulgaria accepted into the organization another of Bulgarian top advertisers – Vivacom

The big winners in IAB MIXX AWARDS 2020

 Sofia, July 1, 2020 – IAB Bulgaria, the largest association of media, agencies and technology companies responsible for digital business in Bulgaria, awarded the TOP digital campaigns in Bulgaria in the fifth edition of the IAB MIXX Awards 2020. The prizes were awarded in the presence of over 150 guests , and over 100 people followed the ceremony live on the IAB Facebook page.

 

What is new in this year’s edition of the competition are the additional categories – a total of 16, which cover a much wider range of opportunities to measure the effectiveness of a campaign in a digital environment. The projects were judge by two different juries  focused on Strategy and Objectives and Tactics and Tools. For the first time, in addition to professionals from the Bulgarian digital industry, the jury also included international experts.

       The focus naturally fell on the common feature of all the campaigns in the finals – that of the digitally brave.

In all 16 categories, the jury announced three winners – they are:

IAB Bulgaria will present the results of the research on the volume of digital advertising in Bulgaria AdEx 2019

Sofia, June 29, 2020

On July 9, 2020 IAB Bulgaria will present the results of the survey on the volume of digital advertising in Bulgaria AdEx 2019. The data on the Bulgarian market will be presented in the context of the main trends in Europe, the volume of investments by industry, as well as ranking of the 100 largest advertisers in the digital environment in Bulgaria. The event will be held online through the ZOOM platform, and access to it will be free.

“Organizing AdEx in the context of COVID-19 was a great challenge and I want to thank all the participants who took the time to submit their data, as well as the colleagues from IAB and EMIS, with whom we worked on the project. We also appreciate the support of BACA, which for the second year called on its members to participate, “said Chavdar Dimov, market research manager at Economedia and head of the research commission of IAB Bulgaria. “This year, for the first time, we managed to estimate the data for Facebook, YouTube and Google search with fellow experts from the research commission. I am happy that IAB Europe appreciated and supported our work, “he added.

AdEx is the only study that shows the volume of advertisers’ investments in the digital environment in Bulgaria. It has been held every year since 2010, for which purpose IAB Bulgaria invites publishers and advertising agencies to participate. The partner of the study this year is IPSOS Bulgaria – one of the largest marketing research agencies globally. The Bulgarian wave of research is also included in the AdEx Benchmark Survey of IAB Europe, with which the organization presents the general picture of the European digital advertising market.

AdEx presents the net market in the main categories of Internet advertising – display, search, ads and directories, native and PR, etc. Key types such as video advertising and social networks are also listed separately. There is an assessment of local investments in Facebook, YouTube and Google search. An important part of the AdEx survey is the ranking of the Top 100 advertisers on the Internet, as well as the ranking by industry.
